"No Prison Tats" is the second chapter of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The chapter follows treasure-hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake as he makes his way through the Panamanian rainforest; first with fellow treasure-hunter Jason Dante, and then with Dante's 'partner', Marisa Chase.

[edit] Synopsis

After discovering the first of many Turquoise Glyphs, treasure-hunters Nathan "Nate" Drake and Jason Dante pass the remains of a large statue and cross a river, where they find another glyph, before they come a road where they are shot at by several poachers. After defeating the poachers, Nate and Dante continue on down the road, eventually coming to the excavation site of a mass grave. At the excavation site, Nate investigates a Spanish Helmet that reveals that the skeletal remains in the grave belong to a Spanish expedition, before Dante's 'partner' Marisa Chase appears. Dante leaves to settle a dispute with drug-runner and former revolutionary General Roberto Guerro, leaving Nate and Chase to investigate the mass grave. Together, Nate and Chase conclude that the Spanish expedition were not killed by the native Kuna people, but poisoned by another party. Chase then shows Nate her Amulet of Eternity, though soon after this they come under attack from Guerro's men.[1]

Nate is able to defeat the soldiers, before he and Chase continue on through the rainforest. Passing the entrance to an old uranium mine, Nate defeats another patrol of Guerro's men, before he and Chase pass over a river and then climb down a rope, where they are again ambushed by Guerro's men. Nate defeats the men while climbing down the rope, before he and Chase come to a cliff where Chase has previously set up a rope. However, finding the rope cut, they instead climb and shimmy their way around the cliff, passing under a waterfall. Nate then drops down onto a man and defeats him, believing him to be one of Guerro's men; although Chase corrects him as she tells him that the man is actually one of Dante's hired mercenaries. Nate and Chase continue on through the jungle, before Chase cries out that there are more of Guerro's men ahead.[2]
