Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
|Affiliation||Atoq Navarro's mercenaries|
Dutch is a minor antagonist that appears in the 2007 video game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
In the game, Dutch is one of Atoq Navarro's mercenaries, hired by British treasure-hunter Gabriel Roman to aid in his search of El Dorado. Along with Atoq Navarro and his fellow mercenaries, Dutch must battle treasure-hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake, who is also searching for El Dorado.
Little is known about Dutch. However, as a member of Atoq Navarro's mercenary team, it can be assumed that he is South American, like Navarro and the rest of the team. It could also be believed that Dutch is a skilled mercenary, and such skill is the reason why Navarro invited him to join the team. Dutch is recognisable from the boonie hat he wears on his head, and the goggles he wears over the hat. Dutch also appears to the grenadier of the mercenary team, as he is often seen carrying a M79 Grenade Launcher when he is encountered.
 Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
In July 2006, Dutch serves as part of Atoq Navarro's mercenary team, hired by Gabriel Roman to help track down the lost treasure of El Dorado. Dutch and the rest of the mercenary team repeatedly encounter fellow treasure-hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake and his acquaintances Elena Fisher and Victor "Sully" Sullivan on the island, as they are also searching for the treasure.
Dutch's eventual fate remains unknown, although it can be assumed that he is killed along with Roman and the rest of the mercenaries when they are attacked by the Descendants in the cavern holding El Dorado.
