The G-MAL is a weapon featured in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The G-MAL is battle rifle that fires in three-shot bursts, superseding the FAL seen in previous games.

The G-MAL first appears in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, seemingly acting as the successor to the FAL seen in the previous Uncharted video games. The G-MAL is fairly accurate, with a large clip size and maximum ammunition. The G-MAL has a below average rate of fire and reload speed, and its blindfire accuracy is low.

In Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception multiplayer, the G-MAL is one of five regular long guns available for use with the player's competitive loadouts, along with the AK-47, M9, Dragon Sniper and KAL-7.

In the multiplayer component of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, six modifications can be added to the G-MAL:

  • Blindfire Accuracy costs $4,000 from rank 1.
  • Reload Speed can be purchased for $5,000 from rank 1.
  • Call Out costs $6,000 from and is available from rank 1.
  • Max Ammo costs $20,000 after being unlocked at rank 13.
  • Clip Size is available from rank 19 and costs $40,000.
  • Accuracy is unlocked at rank 24 for a price of $100,000.

The G-MAL was one of the first weapons revealed to be in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, as it was one of the weapons involved in the beta phase of the multiplayer component of the game.[1]
