Gideon Emery, born 12 September, 1972 in Windsor, England, in an English actor.
Perhaps best known for his work on the comedy sketch show Not Quite Friday Night and his appearances in the feature films Train and Takers, Emery provides additional voice work to the 2011 video game Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

Gideon Emery was born on 12 September, 1972 in Windsor, England.[1] He later moved to South Africa with his parents and was raised there.[2]

Gideon Emery's career began in the 1990s, as he made appearances on several television series. During this time, he also had a notable stint on the South African comedy sketch show Not Quite Friday Night. Moving into the 2000s, Emery began appearing in feature films, and in 2004 Emery began working on voice acting for video games. Over the next few years Emery would voice characters in video games such as Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Mass Effect, while also appearing in well-known television series such as 24 and CSI: NY. In 2008 Emery appeared in the horror film Train in a leading role, and in 2010 he appeared as a Russian mob boss in the 2010 crime film Takers.[3]

Emery's first work in the Uncharted series comes in the 2011 video game Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. In the game, Emery provides voice work for two factions: Marlowe's agents and the Indian Ocean pirates.[4]
