London Underground is the fifth chapter of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The chapter follows treasure-hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake, antique-dealer Victor "Sully" Sullivan and Charlie Cutter as they make their way through an abandoned underground train station that is now part of Katherine Marlowe's secret hideout.
After making their way into Katherine Marlowe's hideout, treasure-hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake, antique-dealer Victor "Sully" Sullivan and Charlie Cutter now come to an abandoned underground train station. After defeating several patrols of Marlowe's agents, the trio come to the secret library, where they overhear a conversation between Marlowe and her right-hand man Talbot. Marlowe tries and fails to insert a forged version of Sir Francis Drake's ring into the accompanying, and upon revealing the deception, realises there's a chance they may have been followed back to the hideout. Marlowe and Talbot leave with Marlowe's agents to search the hideout, and Nate, Sully and Cutter drop down to the ground floor of the library.
After stealthily subduing the guards on sentry duty, the trio investigate the notes gathered by Marlowe on Francis Drake. Nate then climbs up to the figurehead from Drake's ship, the Golden Hind and retrieves a map of a voyage once made by Drake. However, as he does this Marlowe's agents burst into the library. Nate, Sully and Cutter are able to subdue these agents, but must defeat many more as they make their hurried escape.
After escaping in the back of Chloe's van, they regroup and look over their findings at an apartment in London. Form the notes, it is deduced that Francis Drake was once sent on a voyage by Queen Elizabeth to find Iram of the Pillars, a lost city said to be in the Rub' al Khali desert on the Arabian Peninsula. Furthermore, the notes complied by Marlowe reveal that the next clues to the location of Iram lie in France and Syria. As a result, Cutter and Chloe make their way to Syria, while Nate and Sully head to a chateau in Eastern France.
London Underground features four Treasures:
- The Victorian Copper Penny is on a ledge on the ground floor of the secret library; Nathan "Nate" Drake passes it as he climbs to the figurehead from the Golden Hind.
- The Victorian Gold Sovereign is beneath a display on the first floor of the library.
- The Silver Hunter Pocketwatch is beneath the clock that is above the train cars in the main hall of the train station.
- The Art Nouveau Flask is at the rear of the train car at the North Atwood station platform.
