Molten Ruins is a map included in the multiplayer component of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. It is a remastered version of the The Flooded Ruins, a map seen in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves multiplayer.
The focal point of Molten Ruins is a large circular building, which has been greatly destroyed and lies in ruin. Around the large building are a number of other small buildings that are also damaged, and among the smaller buildings there is a downed helicopter. The map seems to be set near a volcano, as rivers of lava can be seen flowing down the mountains that surround the map. Furthermore, lava spills through cracks that spread through the ruinous area.
- Mk-NDI grenades are scattered throughout the map.
- An M32-Hammer is found on the bridge above one of the archways leading into the large circular room.
- A Mag 5 is found in the small dome at the top of the outside of the circular room that overlooks the outside ruins.
- A Riot Shield is near the downed helicopter, beneath the elevated platform running around the circular room.
 Behind the scenes
Molten Ruins is a remastered version of The Flooded Ruins, a map that was first seen in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves multiplayer and is based on an area explored in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The map was first seen several weeks before the public release date of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, as it was included as one of the maps in the second week of the multiplayer early access promotion run by restaurant franchise Subway.
