Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be the fourth installment of the Uncharted series, and will be the first to appear on the Playstation 4.[2] The full title of the game was officially announced during the Sony E3 2014 press conference, along with a trailer featuring Nathan Drake and the voice of Sully.[3]. Due to the themes present in the trailer, it is assumed that this game will take a more pirate orientated approach, however nothing is currently confirmed.

[edit] Synopsis

Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves.

With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve and ultimately what he's willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.[3]

[edit] Development

Since the official announcement of the game, actor Todd Stashwick teased on twitter "Uncharted rehearsal tomorrow. My guess is things will NOT be charted. Again. I repeat, charts will remain un. #uncharted #PS4 #spoiler"[4]. He later referred to writer Amy Hennig in a later tweet the same day, "@amy_hennig has her doctorate in Un. She can Un-Chart like nobody. If you’ve seen a chart that’s un…well…that’s Amy’s handiwork."[5] On May 14, 2014 a document was leaked that revealed the subtitle of the game was to be "The Sunken Blade". It is unknown whether the document was legitimate however.[6]
