As the mercenaries move into Diyu, Olivia turns on Henriksen, and orders the mercenaries to execute Henriksen, Olivia's stepdaughter Jadranka and treasure-hunter Nathan "Nate" Drake. However, before Zheng and the mercenaries can carry out these orders they are attacked by the Protectors of the Hidden Word, a secret society set up to hide the mysteries held within ancient labyrinths around the world.
