Going Underground is the fourteenth chapter of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
After discovering some catacombs under the monastery where Gabriel Roman and Atoq Navarro have set up their base of operations, Nathan "Nate" Drake must investigate them, believing them to hold more clues to the location of the lost statue of El Dorado.
Navarro's mercenaries have also discovered the catacombs, however, so Nate faces an ongoing firefight with any mercenaries he runs into. After fighting several waves of the mercenaries, Nate makes his way into a church chapel, where more of Navarro's mercenaries are waiting for him. After clearing the room, Nate must solve a small puzzle using Sir Francis Drake's journal, before heading back into the catacombs.
During his second venture into the catacombs, Nate comes across a conversation between Roman, Navarro and Eddy Raja. During this conversation, Roman questions the ability of Raja's pirates, to which Eddy responds that the island is cursed, and there is more than just Nate killing his men. After tiring of Eddy's superstitions, Roman cuts Eddy loose from the deal. After witnessing this conversation, Nate makes his way out of the catacombs and the next chapter begins.
