London Underground (multiplayer map)

London Underground's main hall.

London Underground is a map included in the multiplayer component of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. London Underground is a two-part map, as it begins on a set of moving trains and then moves into the fictional North Atwood underground train station.

[edit] Description

As with Airstrip, London Underground is a new innovate two-part map. The first part takes place on two moving trains, where players are able to navigate along and between both trains.

From there the trains eventually pull up into the fictional North Atwood train station, where the second part of the levels begins. The second part of the level you find yourself as stated, in a rundown, abandoned underground station, and the remaining part of the match consists of the more conventional gameplay.[1]

[edit] Weapons

  • Mk-NDI grenades are scattered throughout the map.
  • A Mag 5 is found on the central raised ledge above the train tracks where the Heroes initially spawn.
  • An RPG-7 is located on a metal beam high above the tracks where the Heroes initially spawn.
  • A T-Bolt Sniper is found leaning against the small metal structure in the centre of the hall in the middle of the map.

[edit] Behind the scenes

London Underground was first seen several weeks before the public release date of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, as it was included as one of the maps in the second week of the multiplayer early access promotion run by restaurant franchise Subway.[1]
